The Security Service of Ukraine has arrested 13 militants from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions near Mayorsk in the Donetsk region. The Security Service has also exposed a member of the pro-Russian Party of Regions who had been helping the Russian troops in the Luhansk region.

Russian troops have entered the territory of the Mykolaiv International Airport.

Delegations from Ukraine and Russia are on their way to meet for the third round of talks.

The town of Energodar, where the Zaporizhia NPP is located,is experiencing intermittent communications and problems with food deliveries. The local government is organising meals for residents in critical situations.

Ukraine called the "evacuation" of people to Russia and Belarus proposed by the aggressor state unacceptable and demanded that they support evacuation routes from Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhia to the western regions of Ukraine.

6 people have been rescued from under the wreckage of buildings at the territory of the airport "Vinnytsia". 9 bodies have also been recovered.

On 6 March, at about 9 p.m. air strikes were launched on the towns of Korosten, Ovruch and Malyn in the Korosten district of the Zhytomyr region.

The Operational Headquarters of the Odesa Regional Military Administration says that a Russian ship has been destroyed near Odesa.

Over a 24-hour period from 6-7 March, Russian forces have been shelling and carrying out aerial bombardment of residential neighbourhoods and various facilities in Kharkiv and nearby villages with renewed force, resulting in a lot of destruction and fire.

On the night of March 7, airstrikes hit Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Mykolayiv, Zhytomyr Region was shelled, and the situation in the Kherson and Sumy regions remains difficult.

The Russian invading forces have killed the Mayor of Hostomil Yuriy Prylypko and wounded the Mayor of Bucha Anatoly Fedoruk.

Russia’s Ministry of Defence assures that it is going to open humanitarian corridors from Ukraine to Belarus and the Russian Federation and that it is going to begin a ceasefire from 10:00 (09:00 Kyiv time) on 7 March.

Volunteers from the UK are starting to arrive in Ukraine, prepared to fight against the Russian invasion.
