Denmark to invest $96 million in Ukraine's defence capabilities – photo
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has announced that her government will allocate DKK 1 billion (approximately US$96 million) to strengthen Ukraine’s defence industry.

Details: Frederiksen is on a visit to Ukraine on 19 November.
On the same day, she announced during a press conference with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that DKK 1 billion (approximately $96 million) would be allocated to Ukraine’s defence industry.
Quote: "We can only have peace in Europe if we can defend ourselves."
The public broadcaster revealed that Frederiksen also urged other European countries to follow Denmark’s example and donate more money to Ukraine.
Journalists noted that the funds will come from Denmark's Fund for Ukraine and will be directed towards producing Ukrainian weaponry.
