Russia loses another 1,250 soldiers and 27 armoured combat vehicles in one day

Ukraine’s defence forces continue to inflict losses on Russia as it has lost 1,250 soldiers killed and wounded, 27 artillery systems and 5 tanks over the past day alone.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 30 September 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 653,060 (+1,250) military personnel;
• 8,874 (+5) tanks;
• 17,503 (+27) armoured combat vehicles;
• 18,822 (+27) artillery systems;
• 1,204 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 963 (+1) air defence systems;
• 369 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 328 (+0) helicopters;
• 16,224 (+38) strategic and tactical UAVs;
• 2,610 (+0) cruise missiles;
• 28 (+0) ships/boats;
• 1 (+0) submarine;
• 25,548 (+53) vehicles and tankers;
• 3,313 (+16) special vehicles and other equipment.
