Russian forces have lost 890 troops across the war zone in Ukraine in the past day, bringing the total of Russia’s combat casualties to 448,400.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 8 April 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:
- 448,400 (+890) military personnel;
- 7,087 (+13) tanks;
- 13,575 (+24) armoured combat vehicles;
- 11,356 (+40) artillery systems;
- 1,039 (+3) multiple-launch rocket systems;
- 751 (+2) air defence systems;
- 347 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
- 325 (+0) helicopters;
- 8,996 (+40) strategic and tactical UAVs;
- 2,065 (+1) cruise missiles;
- 26 (+0) ships and boats;
- 1 (+0) submarines;
- 15,110 (+39) vehicles and tankers;
- 1,867 (+3) special vehicles and other equipment.
