Ukraine's Minister of Defence shares details of agreement with France on GM 200 air defence radars

Ukraine might receive two GM 200 air defence radars thanks to cooperation with France. An appropriate memorandum was signed with Thales [a French multinational company - ed.].

Quote: "A memorandum was signed with Thales agreeing on the supply of two GM-200 radars, which will significantly improve the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ ability to intercept aerial targets, in particular cruise and ballistic missiles, as well as drones of different types," Reznikov said. 

He also specified information that was voiced during the ministerial briefing in regards to the training of Ukrainian soldiers: France will train over 6,500 Ukrainian servicemen, of whom 2,000 will undergo training on the territory of France and Poland.

Earlier, Sebastien Lecornu, the French Minister of Defence, stated that France will send 12 more Caesar self-propelled howitzers in addition to the 18 that were sent before. This excludes 19 more Caesars that Denmark ordered from France but decided to send to Ukraine.
