Russians attack Ukraine with Shahed UAVs: 17 drones shot down over one day – General Staff

Over the course of the last 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down 17 Russian drones, in particular 14 Iranian Shahed-136 drones.

Quote: "Over the course of the last 24 hours, our defenders have shot down 14 drones of the Shahed-136 type, 1 Orlan unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), as well as 2 more drones, the type of which is being verified."

Background: On 6 December, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled an attack of the Russian army in the area of 10 settlements in Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts.
