Plane with special communications arrives in Minsk after Putin

Russian government plane Rossiia, equipped with a special communications unit, arrived in Minsk.

Quote: "Tu-214SUS SLO Rossiia with registration number RA-64524 enters Minsk National Airport.

This is a special-purpose aircraft equipped with a communication node and special technical means that allow communication with any point in the world on the flight route."

Background: Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Minsk on Monday, 19 December.

Before Putin's aircraft entered the air space of Belarus, two more aircrafts took off from Moscow and Saint Petersburg, likely to divert attention from the aircraft with the Russian president on board.
