Mikhail Fotin, military commissar near Moscow, said [in a video - ed.] that next year the term of service in the army will be increased by one and a half, and then by two. After that, he said that the video was tampered with by the enemies.

Quote: "There is official information from the military commissar of Moscow Oblast that there will be a transition period in the spring, when citizens who are conscripted in the spring will serve for one and a half years, and those conscripted in the autumn of 2023 will serve for two years.

I consider the decision quite logical due to the fact that our northern neighbours are joining NATO."

Details: The video was deleted from the air of the city TV channel after that.

The military commissar told journalists that the sense of his words depended on "how the material was mounted", and then said that the footage was filmed "two years ago".

Why it is important: It is obvious that the military commissar blew the gaff and the recording is fresh, so it was deleted from YouTube.

It is worth noting that two years ago there was no question of Finland and Sweden joining NATO, as reported by the military commissar.
