Details: On journalists’ question on whether Ukraine needs a new wave of mobilisation, the Commander-in-Chief answered as follows:
Quote from Zaluzhnyi: "We are already conducting it as it is. We have enough people, and I can clearly see what I have. I have enough. I don’t need hundreds of thousands more.
We need tanks, we need armoured vehicles, infantry fighting vehicles. And we need ammunition..."
Background: In August 2022, Oleksii Reznikov, the Minister of Defence of Ukraine, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not need to increase their total number of personnel yet, but specific specialists are to be mobilised.
Why it is important: The military and political leadership of Ukraine have reiterated that the greatest value is the life of Ukrainian citizens in general and the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in particular.
