Ukraine’s Security Service discovers torture chamber in Kherson where Russians tortured Ukrainian patriots

During stabilisation measures in the liberated city of Kherson, officers of the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police of Ukraine discovered a torture chamber where the Russian occupiers interrogated and tortured pro-Ukraine residents of Kherson.

Details: The Security Service reports that local patriots who refused to collaborate with Russians were interrogated and cruelly tortured in this torture chamber. During their inspection, law enforcement officers discovered items that are clearly evidence of torture.
Quote: "At the moment, a set of investigative and operative measures is being conducted to document all the crimes committed by the occupiers, identify the perpetrators, and hold them to account."
Background:
- On 11 November, Defence Intelligence reported that the city of Kherson was back under Ukrainian control, and units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were entering the city.
- On 12 November, the legitimate Kherson Oblast and City Military Administrations, as well as the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police, started working in liberated Kherson.
- At the same time, a curfew from 17:00 to 08:00 was imposed in Kherson.
- The authorities are calling on residents of the liberated territories of Kherson Oblast to evacuate.
- On 13 November, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported that torture chambers of the Russian occupiers were discovered in Kherson Oblast.
