Workers of metallurgical plant in Mariupol killed by mine – advisor to Mayor

Workers tasked with cleaning a workshop in the Mariupol Illich Steel and Iron Works metallurgy plant have been killed by a mine. The plant has not been demined.

Quote: "A tragedy has occurred at the Illich Steel and Iron Works in Mariupol. The occupying administration sent people to clean up the workshops without demining them first. As a result the employees triggered a mine. The explosion was so powerful that the whole city heard it."
Details: Andriushchenko states that four residents of Mariupol were hospitalised and are in a very serious condition. The advisor to the mayor once again called upon Mariupol residents to evacuate.
