Mykhailo Podoliak, the adviser to the head of the President's Office, has called on those living in Russian-occupied territories to prepare for the liberation of these territories by Ukraine: to set up shelters, stock up on water, and charge power banks.

Quote from Podoliak: "We are asking residents of the occupied territories, including the Crimean peninsula, to watch out for announcements from the authorities regarding compliance with our recommendations during deoccupation measures – specifically, to set up shelters, stock up on sufficient water, and charge power banks now."
Background:
- A week ago, Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied territories, particularly in the south, were once again asked to evacuate as a matter of urgency, because "the unfolding of events is powerful and dynamic".
- Iryna Vereshchuk, deputy prime minister and minister for the reintegration of temporarily occupied territories, has said that Kherson Oblast residents must evacuate, as a "difficult winter" is approaching.
