Quote: "Men in Mariupol are receiving messages with an order to come to a military enlistment office. The occupiers explain this decision by the fact that according to the results of the demonstrative pseudo-referendum, Mariupol will become a part of Russia".
Details: The Mariupol City Council published a screenshot of a message written in Russian: "In accordance with the order of Vladimir Putin "On partial mobilisation of the citizens of the Russian Federation", we ask you to arrive at the military enlistment office at your place of residence with a passport and personal belongings".
The Mariupol City Council reported that covert mobilisation has been ongoing in the city for a long time. In particular, men received messages suggesting they work in a so-called "state militarised service". After the fake referendum, the men will be mobilised openly.
The men of Mariupol are recommended to leave the city for safety reasons.
