Russian forces continue to attack Sloviansk, damaging apartment block

Russian forces have been shelling the city of Sloviansk in Donetsk Oblast throughout the day on 11 September. They have damaged a multi-storey apartment building; the number of casualties has yet to be confirmed.

Quote from Liakh: "Sunday [in Sloviansk] has not been peaceful so far. The shelling continues. Central Sloviansk and the Slovkurort [Sloviansk resort] neighbourhood [are under fire].

A multi-storey [apartment] building has been damaged. We are checking information about casualties."

Details: Liakh urged all local residents to stay indoors wherever possible.
