A sharp jump in infectious diseases has been noticed in the city. Bodies of the dead are still found in the middle of streets.
"The photo shows the corpse of a person in a bag at the intersection of Lomizova and Azovstalska Streets. Such cases are not isolated. The city is full of unsanitary conditions and there is no proper medical care," the report says.
Russian occupying authorities themselves reported 17 recorded cases of acute intestinal infection, half of those cases being children.
However, the real state of events is worse, the city council says.
"With almost complete lack of medical care, more than 30 people die in Mariupol per week. This is more than in Mariupol with a population of half a million before the start of the war," the agency says.
Due to unsanitary conditions and the contamination of groundwater and rivers, the city also remains at risk of cholera spreading.

According to Andryushchenko, insulin-dependents suffer the worst conditions
An endocrinologist from Russia examines patients only once a week, on Thursdays, in one hospital.
"He also ‘gives away’ insulin in syringes. That's why not everyone is lucky. No one controls the situation of compatibility and selection of insulin at all.
There is simply no medicine in the city. None, except illusory," Andryushchenko says.
