Air-raid warning announced across most of Ukraine

An air-raid warning was announced across most of the territory of Ukraine on the evening of 26 July.

Details: As of 23:25, air-raid warnings have been announced in every Ukrainian oblast, apart from Russian-occupied Crimea, Kherson Oblast (the majority of which has also been occupied by Russian forces), Odesa Oblast and Zhytomyr Oblast.

Later, at 00:16, the alert was cancelled in western and some central regions of Ukraine.

Air raid warning means there is a heightened threat of missile strikes. Residents of the affected oblasts are advised to retreat to bomb shelters.

The Belaruski Haiun monitoring group reported three fighter jets taking off in Baranovichi.

At the same time, it added that the fighters in Baranavichy were circling in the training area and practicing simulated landings.
