Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov is asking people to keep morning travel on surface-level public transport to a minimum for safety reasons.

Details: According to the mayor, the past week has shown that now the aggressor is not even pretending to fire on military facilities.

Residential buildings, markets, shopping centres, schools, sports complexes, universities, etc. But the worst thing is public transport stops. That’s where the occupier struck on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

At precisely the time when many people in Kharkiv were on their way to work. Three people died and 23 were injured on Thursday. On Wednesday, three were injured and three were killed at a bus stop, including a 13-year-old boy. His 15-year-old sister was wounded.

Quote: "This terror against us will continue. And our main objective now is to survive and live. Build your schedule for travelling around the city in such a way as to minimise morning journeys on ground-level transport. Use the metro more often - it is currently the safest way to travel.

If you need food or other help, our social welfare offices and volunteer organisations are open. You can always go there and they will help you.

And remember the main thing - we will definitely win!"
