Fierce fighting is taking place near Lysychansk city, but it is not encircled – National Guard

The National Guard of Ukraine notes the difficult situation around Lysychansk city in the Luhansk region but refutes the information of the Russians about the encirclement of the city.

Quote: "There are fierce battles near Lysychansk, but, fortunately, the city is not encircled and is under the control of Ukrainian troops. At the same time, Russia is trying to create favourable conditions for an offensive in the southern regions: the Mykolaiv region and part of the Kharkiv region."

Details: Muzychuk noted that, according to the General Staff, the most difficult situation is on the Lysychansk and Bakhmut fronts, and in the Kharkiv region.

The Russian goal here remains access to the administrative border of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
