The number of child victims of the invaders has increased: the Russians killed a mother and a young daughter in Kherson

On 15 July, Russian soldiers killed a mother and her young daughter in Kherson - bringing the number of Ukrainian child victims of the occupiers to 353.

Quote: "As of the morning of 16 July, more than 1,015 children have been injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to official information, 353 children have been killed and more than 662 have sustained injuries of varying degrees of severity."

Details: Prosecutors emphasise that these numbers are not final, as work is ongoing to confirm them in places of active hostilities and in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

The greatest number of children have been affected in Donetsk (353), Kharkiv (191), Kyiv (116), Chernihiv (68), Luhansk (61), Mykolaiv (53), Kherson (52), and Zaporizhia (31) oblasts.

Three more children are known to have been injured on 14 July as a result of the Russian rocket attack on Vinnytsia.

On 15 July, the Bakhmut district of Donetsk Oblast came under fire once again by the occupiers. A 14-year-old girl was injured in Verkhnokamianske, and a 16-year-old girl was injured in the village of Sviato-Pokrovske. 

2,138 educational institutions have been damaged as a result of bombing and shelling by the armed forces of the Russian Federation, 221 have been completely destroyed.
