Armed Forces of Ukraine repulse assaults on the Slobozhanshchyna and Donetsk fronts – General Staff report

The Ukrainian military repelled the assaults of the occupiers on the Slobozhanshchyna and Donetsk fronts.

Details: On the Slobozhanshchyna front, the Russian occupying forces used tube and rocket artillery to shell the areas of Kharkiv, Stara Hnylytsia, Ruska Lozova, Ukrainka, Ruski Tyshky, Peremoha, Mykilske, Slatyne, Zolochiv, Krynychne, Chepil, Novomykolaivka, Nova Dmytrivka, Dibrovne, Bohorodychne and Karnaukhivka. They have conducted an airstrike near Verkhnii Saltiv.

Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled the assault again, during which the occupiers tried to establish control over Boрorodychnе.

On the Donetsk front,  the Russian aggressors intensified the use of aviation, tube and rocket artillery in some areas so as to expand the temporarily occupied territory and reach the administrative border of the Donetsk region.

The Russian army carried out airstrikes in the areas of Verkhnokamianske, Ivano-Dariivka, Kramatorsk, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Pokrovske, Soledar, Nova Kamʼianka, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna and Niu-York. Missile and air strikes were recorded near Bilohorivka, Yahidne, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novoselivka.

The occupiers tried to take control of part of the Bakhmut-Lysychansk road. Assault operations were conducted in the areas of Nahirne and Bilohorivka. Ukrainian soldiers stopped all these poor attempts of the Russian occupiers with fire and pushed them back.

The invaders also made several unsuccessful attempts to improve their tactical position in the Mykolaivka – Spirne, Myronivka – Vuhlehirska power station and Vidrodzhennia – Vershyna fronts. They suffered losses and retreated.

In the areas of Pavlohrad and Pokrovsk, Russian soldiers conducted aerial reconnaissance by UAVs.

On the Kurakhove, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts, the Russian army fired artillery near the municipalities of Novomykhailivka, Pavlivka, Prechystivka, Novopil, Myrne and Mali Shcherbaky.

An attempt to improve the tactical position in the areas of Solodke – Vodiane, Volodymyrivka – Vodiane, Yehorivka – Pavlivka ended with significant losses for the Russian occupiers. The remnants of the Russian forces retreated under the fire of Ukrainian soldiers.

In order to identify changes in the position of Ukrainian troops and adjust artillery fire, the Russian army conducted aerial reconnaissance by UAVs in the area of ​​Mala Tokmachka.

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the rotation of the A-50U long-range radar detection aircraft of the Air and Space Forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is noted in the airspace of the Republic of Belarus. The threat of missile and air strikes from the territory and airspace of the Republic of Belarus remains.

On the Sivershchyna front, the invaders keep up to four battalion tactical groups in the border areas of the Bryansk and Kursk regions [Russia] in order to demonstrate their presence and constrain the actions of the Defence Forces of Ukraine. The Russian occupiers shelled Ukrainian positions near Kucherivka and Pokrovka, Sumy Oblast.

On the Pivdennyi Buh front, Russian troops are shelling the positions of Ukrainian soldiers from tanks, tube and rocket artillery along the front line. There have been attempts to conduct aerial reconnaissance by UAVs.

In the waters of the Black Sea, the occupiers keep three carriers of high-precision weapons ready for use.
