Prosecutors learn about a boy injured in Mariupol and 17 children wounded in the Kharkiv region

As of the morning of June 13, at least 815 children have suffered in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation: 288 children have been killed and 527 children injured.

Details: On 12 June, a 6-year-old boy was killed in an artillery attack on the city of Lysychansk in Luhansk Oblast by the Russian military.

On 11 June, a 12-year-old girl was injured in the shelling of the city of Chortkiv in Ternopil Oblast in the west of Ukraine. 

In addition, during the recording of criminal offences, it became known that on 20 March, an 8-year-old boy was injured as a result of the shelling of the city of Mariupol, Donetsk Oblast.

It also became known that 17 more children were injured in the shelling in Kharkiv Oblast. 

In particular, on 20 May, a 13-year-old girl was injured during the shelling of the village of  Velyki Khutory, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv Oblast. 

On 14 May, two children aged 7 and 15 were injured in the shelling of the village of Lebiazhe, Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv Oblast.

As a result of the shelling of the village of Chervona Poliana, Izium district, Kharkiv Oblast, an 11-year-old boy was taken to hospital with injuries.

During the full-scale war, children have been injured the most in the following oblasts: Donetsk – 218, Kharkiv – 166, Kyiv – 116, Chernihiv – 68, Luhansk – 54, Kherson – 52, Mykolaiv – 48, Zaporizhzhia – 30, Sumy – 17.

All figures are not final, as work is underway to establish them in places of active hostilities, and in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
