Quote from Oleksandr Starukh, head of the Oblast Military Administration: "The Russians are trying to attack the eastern communities in our region. Artillery, air and missile strikes are being carried out along the contact line.  Today (30 May – ed.) Orikhiv and Hryhorivka were very badly affected; civil infrastructure, residential buildings and educational institutions were damaged."

Details: The head of the Oblast Military Administration also added that the invaders are continuing to redeploy their troops. Over 50 tanks of outdated models – T-62s and T-72Bs – have been delivered to Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

According to Starukh, the invaders are destroying towns and cities in the oblast every day, firing on civilian structures.

He also noted that the explosion in Melitopol on 30 May may have been the result of a power struggle between the collaborators and the occupiers.

And the occupiers' attempts to hand out Russian passports to the locals as quickly as possible may indicate that they are running out of "cannon fodder" and plan to send those who receive Russian citizenship to fight, as they did in occupied Crimea and Donbas.
