The former vice-president of “Gazprombank” and his family found dead in Moscow

A former vice-president of the Russian "Gazprombank" [a privately owned Russian bank, the third largest bank in Russia by assets - ed.], his wife and his daughter have been found dead in Moscow.

Details: A source in the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation stated that the vice-president of "Gazprombank", Vladislav Avaev, his wife and his underage daughter were found dead in Moscow.

All the deceased had gunshot wounds.

The source stated that "Avaev killed his wife and daughter and committed suicide, according to preliminary information."

The press service of the Moscow Investigative Committee of the Main Investigative Directorate called this a priority version, without mentioning the names of the deceased.

According to the source, the incident could have happened because of domestic conflict.
