Details: Vereshchuk said that 2,671 people were evacuated on 12 April.

2,343 people left Berdiansk and Mariupol for Zaporizhzhia using private transport: 208 residents of Mariupol and 2,135 residents of cities and towns of the Zaporizhzhia region (Polohy, Vasylivka, Berdiansk, and Melitopol).

Convoys of buses from Zaporizhzhia that were meant to evacuate people from Berdiansk, Tokmak, and Enerhodar were stopped by the Russian occupying troops at a checkpoint in Vasylivka. Vereshchuk said that the government was looking for ways to re-route the buses.

328 were evacuated from Lysychansk, Popasna, Sievierodonetsk, Rubizhne, and Kreminna in the Luhansk region.
