According to the General Staff: "Defence forces continue to defend the Eastern, Southeastern, and Northeast fronts.
The enemy had made no advances on any of those fronts.
In the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region, the enemy reacts to peaceful protests against the occupation by resorting to terrorising local residents and actively deploying units of the Russian Guard to prevent these actions of civil disobedience to the occupation authorities."
Details: Groups of Ukrainian troops deter the Russian army on the aforementioned fronts, and are carrying out a stabilisation operation, as well as territorial defence tasks.
Russian air forces continue to be active and to carry out air strikes. On 23 March, more than 250 aircraft flights were recorded, 60 more than on the previous day. Russia’s main targets remain military and civil infrastructure facilities in the Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv regions.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to repulse targeted missile and air strikes and continues to carry out air defence of important facilities and military units. On 23 MArch, 11 Russian air targets were hit (7 planes, 1 UAV, 1 helicopter, and 2 cruise missiles). Information about their final downing is being confirmed.
The Russian army continues to lose manpower and equipment on all fronts.
