Zelenskyy appoints new head of Kyiv City Military Administration

President Zelenskyy has dismissed Serhii Popko as Head of Kyiv City Military Administration and appointed Tymur Tkachenko.

Details: The relevant decrees have been published on the president's official website. 

Quote: "Pursuant to Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine 'On the Legal Regime of Martial Law,' Tymur Firuddinovych Tkachenko is appointed as the Head of Kyiv City Military Administration."

Background: Tymur Tkachenko previously held the position of Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries. Before that, he served as Director of the Department of Territorial Control of Kyiv at the Kyiv City State Administration.
