Russian military allegedly execute Ukrainian soldiers encircled in Russia's Kursk Oblast – Ukraine's human rights commissioner

Social media reported on Wednesday, 20 November, that captured Ukrainian servicemen who were encircled in Kursk Oblast of the Russian Federation were allegedly executed.

Details: Dmytro Lubinets said that the information about another war crime committed by Russians emerged from social media.

The Russians allegedly executed Ukrainian prisoners of war who were encircled in Kursk Oblast.

Lubinets did not provide any other details, including the number of fatalities. As usual, he said that he had sent letters to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross regarding this crime.

Quote from Lubinets: "The international community must act immediately. The occupying country has once again violated the Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War. Russia must be stopped. The enemy will be held accountable for every crime."
