Ukraine's Defence Ministry promises to work out bill on conditions of demobilisation by 18 December
Ukraine's Ministry of Defence intends to conclude work on a bill establishing the conditions and criteria for dismissing military members by 18 December of this year.

Quote: "The Committee made an official request to the Ministry of Defence to draft a bill outlining the procedure and conditions for dismissing certain types of military personnel during martial law.
An answer was received the other day, stating that, in accordance with the Ukrainian Defence Ministry's plan, the project will be completed by the deadline set by the parliament – 18 December 2024."
Details: According to Kostenko, it is unclear what processes the Ministry of Defence will use to dismiss personnel from service.
Background:
- On 11 April, the Verkhovna Rada passed a law on mobilisation.
- The section on military discharge from duty was removed from the agreement at the initiative of Ukraine's Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
- The Verkhovna Rada has instructed the Ministry of Defence to submit a bill within eight months.
