Biden, Scholz, Macron and Starmer discuss aid to Ukraine and Zelenskyy's Victory Plan

French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and US President Joe Biden met in Berlin on 18 October to discuss further assistance to Ukraine and President Zelenskyy's Victory Plan.

Quote: "The leaders condemned Russia's ongoing aggressive war against Ukraine and discussed their plans to provide Ukraine with additional security, economic and humanitarian aid, including the use of extraordinary proceeds from frozen Russian assets."

Details: The parties also discussed President Zelenskyy's Victory Plan.

"[The leaders – ed.] reaffirmed their determination to continue to support Ukraine in its efforts to secure a just and lasting peace based on international law, including the United Nations Charter, and respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity," the statement said.
