We await concrete decisions from partners – Zelenskyy on implementation of his Victory Plan – video

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, says that after his visit to the US he expects concrete actions from Ukraine’s partners for strengthening the strategy and implementation of the Victory Plan.

Details: Zelenskyy stated that he had just ended a meeting following the results of his visit to the US. He talked to the Ukrainian military, the government and the Office of the President.

Quote: "Our teams – both Ukrainian and American – are already working on everything we discussed in New York and Washington, and we are already preparing for the upcoming Ramstein meeting. This will be a special Ramstein, and our partners will receive all the details and arguments from our side on how to ensure results in the coming months both at the front and in diplomatic work."

More details: Zelenskyy noted that it was necessary to unite the force of weapons and of diplomacy as they are "always effective when working together".

Quote: "This is exactly how we should implement the Victory Plan. We are also expecting concrete actions from our partners to strengthen our strategy. This applies to all our partners – our strength lies in the fact that the free world is defending itself."

Background:

• Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy intends to personally request further arms supplies from Western partners during a meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group, also known as the Ramstein format, to keep fighting against Russia.
• The Ramstein format meeting will be held on 12 October.
