Russian Shahed drones attack energy facilities in Sumy

The Russians attacked energy facilities in the city of Sumy with Shahed drones on the night of 17-18 September. The aftermath of the strike is being addressed.

Details: Early reports indicate that there have been no casualties.

Quote: "Efforts are ongoing to address the aftermath of the enemy attack. We thank our power engineers for their prompt and coordinated work. The power system in the oblast is operating under strained conditions as a result of the enemy attacks."

Details: Consumers are asked to reduce electricity consumption, especially during peak hours. 

Sumy Oblast Military Administration also reported that Sumy air defence forces had downed 16 Russian Shahed drones over the oblast.
