Bus carrying Ukrainians crashes in Poland: passengers in hospital

A minibus carrying Ukrainian citizens has crashed on the road between Poznań, Poland, and Frankfurt, Germany, near the border.

Details: The accident occurred on the A2 road near the city of Świebodzin, about 60 km from the German border.

Despite the warning markings and detour signs, the minibus collided with a road maintenance vehicle equipped with a technical trailer. The impact caused the bus to overturn onto its side, resulting in severe damage to the right side of the car.

Nine people from the minibus have been taken to hospital, five of them in a serious condition.

The police reported that the passengers on the bus were Ukrainian citizens, including four children. Children are also among the seriously injured.

Apart from the people in the minibus, no one else was injured in the accident.
