The city of Kherson was left without electricity due to the Russian attack on 20 June.

Quote from Prokudin: "Kherson was left without electricity due to the Russian attack. Power engineers have already begun emergency restoration works and are addressing the consequences of the enemy strike."

Background:

• Civilian energy infrastructure facilities in four regions of Ukraine – Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Kyiv – were damaged as a result of Russian attacks on the night of 19-20 June.
• The Energy Ministry reported that during the attack on 20 June, seven employees were injured at two energy facilities.
