Strike on Novohrodivka: body of 8-year-old girl pulled out of rubble
The body of an 8-year-old girl was recovered from the rubble of a residential building in Novohrodivka, Donetsk Oblast, which was hit by a Russian missile on the night of 29-30 November; the district authorities have declared three days of mourning.

Quote: "As of the morning of 4 December 2023, a body of a girl was recovered from underneath the rubble. The child's parents, who are probably still under the rubble, have not been found."
Details: He also noted that a search and rescue operation was underway at the site of the Russian missile strike on an apartment building in the city centre.
Later, Shevchenko said that a three-day mourning period was announced in the Novohrodivka district for the residents killed in the attack. It will last from Monday, 4 December, to Wednesday, 6 December.
Background:
- On the night of 29-30 November, the Russians fired six missiles at Pokrovsk, Novohrodivka and Myrnohrad in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk Oblast. There were at least 10 casualties, and five more people are currently being searched for under the rubble.
- It was reported that the body of a dead man was pulled from underneath the rubble. Later, rescuers removed the body of another man from underneath the rubble of a residential building.
