Security exercises with new checkpoints and vehicle inspections to be conducted in Kyiv
The Ukrainian Defence Forces, together with the city authorities, police and other units, will conduct security exercises in Kyiv. These exercises include installing temporary checkpoints with restrictive signs and inspecting vehicles.

Details: These events will take place on 26-28 December.
Quote from Serhii Popko, Head of Kyiv City Military Administration: "The exercises include the deployment of temporary checkpoints, the installation of restrictive signs and elements of engineering barriers. According to the conditions, we will practice checking vehicles, documents, checkpoint security elements, certain demonstration and search and counter-sabotage measures."
Details: The exercise is aimed at improving the system of management, organisation, and effective interaction to ensure public safety and protection of the population in the event of an escalation of the situation.
Quote from Popko: "The war is not over. Threats to the capital and its residents still exist... Such training should be conducted systematically, and based on the results of a regular analysis, after the training, we should identify and correct mistakes and prepare even better to perform an important task – protecting Kyiv and its residents from potential threats."
