Another monument to Bolsheviks dismantled in Kyiv – photo

Public utility workers in Kyiv have dismantled a monument to the so-called "participants of the January armed uprising of 1918".

Quote: "The ideological purpose of this pedestal was to glorify the Bolsheviks, who orchestrated an armed rebellion against the Ukrainian Central Council and the Ukrainian People's Republic. 

For years, Soviet and imperial oppressors were presented to us as heroes. Now is the moment to eliminate the adversarial cultural influence once and for all."
