Zelenskyy: Ukraine has done its part in implementing EU recommendations

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, has spoken over the phone with Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of Italy, about Ukraine's progress in implementing the EU’s recommendations.

Details: Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed optimism that the EU leaders would reach a historic decision in tandem with a fair assessment of Ukraine's efforts to initiate negotiations.

Quote: "Ukraine has fulfilled its part of the commitments. We have once again proved that we are able to achieve impressive results on our way to the EU despite unprecedented challenges. I believe that unity will prevail at tomorrow's meeting of the European Council and the European Union will reaffirm its strength and leadership."

Details: Zelenskyy and Meloni also exchanged views on the implementation of the Peace Formula and preparations for the Global Peace Summit.
