Number of victims of attack on Zaporizhzhia rises to 33

As a result of the Russian missile attack on Zaporizhzhia in the afternoon of 22 March, at least 33 people were injured and one person died. There were three children among the injured.

Quote: "As of now, there are 33 victims. One person died, three children aged 5, 7 and 9 are in the hospital at the moment but in mild condition. There are three people in severe condition."

Details: Malashko also reported that a search and rescue operation is being carried out on the site of the attack.

He stated that there is information that people, reportedly a senior couple, may have been inside an apartment that was hit.

Background: On 22 March at about 12:00, the Russian forces launched 6 missiles on the city of Zaporizhzhia. One of them struck two apartment blocks standing next to each other.

The Air Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russian occupiers deployed a multiple-launch rocket system, probably Tornado-S.
