Details: According to the investigation, the woman was elected as a member of the Kupiansk District Council of the VIII convocation in October 2020. During the occupation, the council member supported the Russians, for which she was appointed "acting deputy head of the Kuryliv territorial Department of the Civil and Military Administration of the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv Oblast."

The woman followed the instructions of the invaders to involve residents in actions in favour of Russia, extended the occupation regime, and also participated in the preparation of a pseudo-referendum in Kharkiv Oblast.

After the liberation of the region, the woman fled to the capital, where she tried to arrange documents as a migrant from the east of Ukraine, and then leave for the European Union.

Law enforcement officers detained her on 7 December in Kyiv. The woman was informed of suspicion under Part 5 of Article 111-1 (collaboration) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.  She has been remanded in custody.
