Russia increases volume of transferring conscripts and equipment from Far East – General Staff
As of the 300th day of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia is transferring more and more conscripts, weapons, military equipment, ammunition and fuel from the Far East.

Quote from the General Staff: "Russian occupiers keep conducting the full-scale aggression against our state and keep launching attacks on critical infrastructure and households of civilians in Ukraine, violating the norms of international humanitarian law, as well as laws and customs of war.
They are increasing the volume of transferring the conscripted military personnel, weapons, military equipment, ammunition and fuel from the Far East of the Russian Federation."
Details: The Russian Federation keeps focusing on conducting offensive operations on the Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts. They are trying to improve their tactical position on the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts.
As per the information from the General Staff, the Russians are defending the previously captured positions and concentrating on deterring the actions of Ukrainian defence forces. At the same time, the invaders are shooting at the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian facilities along the contact line.
Over the past 24 hours, the Russian forces carried out 10 airstrikes and 4 missile strikes on civilian facilities in the settlements of Andriivka, Vovchansk and Soledar. They also fired 20 times from multiple-launch rocket systems, aiming at civilian infrastructure of the city of Kherson.
A threat of the Russians launching missile attacks and airstrikes on crucial facilities in Ukraine remains.
During the day, Ukraine’s aircraft delivered 10 strikes on clusters of manpower, weapons and military equipment and 12 strikes on locations of anti-aircraft missile systems of the occupiers.
Units of Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery struck an ammunition storage point, three command posts and eight clusters of Russian military personnel over the current day.
The situation on all the fronts is as follows:
- On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there are no significant changes or evidence that Russian forces are forming new offensive task forces. Separate units of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation are deployed in the regions that are close to the border with Ukraine.
- On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the invaders used mortars and artillery systems to fire at positions of Ukrainian forces near 27 settlements, including Karpovychi, Tymonovychi and Kostobobriv in Chernihiv Oblast; Kindrativka, Vodolahy, Zapsillia and Yizdetske in Sumy Oblast; Huriv, Alisivka, Krasne, Zelena, Vovchansk, Zybyne, Volokhivka, Varvarivka, Zemlianky and Dvorichna in Kharkiv Oblast. The Russians launched an attack UAV near Popivka in Chernihiv Oblast and Zybyne in Kharkiv Oblast.
- On the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts, the occupiers fired from tanks and the entire spectrum of artillery. They hit the areas of 15 settlements: Hrianykivka, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka, Krokhmalne and Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast; Makiivka, Ploshchanka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka and Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast. The Russians used their operational-tactical and army aircraft near Novoselivske and Ploshchanka settlements.
- On the Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts, the invaders kept conducting offensive operations; they attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders from tanks and all types of artillery near 24 vicinities. This refers to Andriivka and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast; Spirne, Soledar, Bakhmut, Stupochky, Vodiane, Nevelske, Marinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast. The Russians used UAVs and army aircraft to strike the areas of Andriivka, Bilohorivka, Spirne, Pivnichne, New-York, Kamianka, Avdiivka and Nevelske.
- On the Novopavlivka front, the occupiers carried out attacks from tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery, hitting positions of the Ukrainian troops near Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva and Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk Oblast;
- On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts, the Russians kept attacking the Ukrainian positions and civilian infrastructure of the settlements along the right (west) bank of the Dnipro River. They used tanks and the entire variety of artillery to fire at 35 vicinities, including Vremivka in Donetsk Oblast; Zelenyi Hai, Dorozhnianka, Zaliznychne, Verbove and Bilohiria in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Beryslav, Tokarivka, Antonivka and Berehove in Kherson Oblast. The invaders delivered airstrikes near Vremivka, Mali Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka and Olhivske.
