Quote: "Yesterday was St Nicholas Day. The Russians greeted us with one of the largest Shahed attacks. I mean by number. Because 35 attack UAVs were launched on the territory of Ukraine. If we take into account the statistics, then such a number of Shaheds [in one attack] they haven't deployed yet.
After a long pause... since 7 December, we have 67 downed UAVs of this type. These are only downed, obviously not everything can be shot down."
Details: Ukraine’s Air Force states that in total in November and December, Russia used 127 Shahed drones and 300 cruise missiles.
Since the beginning of Russia's use of Iranian kamikaze drones [13 September – ed.], air defence has shot down approximately 430 such UAVs.
