Occupiers use rockets to hit Zaporizhzhia and namesake Oblast, three rockets downed by anti-aircraft defences

Oleksandr Starukh, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration, reported that Russian forces have carried out a rocket attack on Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Quote from Starukh: "The enemy carried out another rocket strike on the [administrative] centre of [Zaporizhzhia] Oblast [i.e., the city of Zaporizhzhia - ed.] and its vicinity."
Details: Starukh said that there is a threat of further attacks.
Later, Starukh reported that the anti-aircraft defence shot down three Russian rockets.
Quote by Starukh: "Loud explosions in the Oblast centre [i.e., the city of Zaporizhzhia] are the result of anti-aircraft defence being activated. An anti-aircraft system downed three enemy rockets over one of hromadas (administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories) in the Zaporizhzhia district."
There has been no information about casualties or the extent of destruction so far.
Previously: Russians forces fired seven rockets at high-rise buildings in the city of Zaporizhzhia on the night of 6–7 October. Russian rockets targeted infrastructure facilities. Latest reports indicate that 12 civilians were killed in the attack.
