Since 1 October the Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated more than 500 km2 in the Kherson region – Zelenskyy

Since 1 October the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated over 500 km2 of the territory and tens of settlements in the Kherson region alone.

Quote: "Since 1 Ocotber, in the Kherson region alone, over half a thousand square kilometres and tens of settlements were liberated from the Russian pseudo-referendum and stabilised.

There are advances on the Eastern front as well. There is no doubt that one day we will report about the advances in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, in the districts now controlled by the occupiers. One day we will report about the liberation of Crimea."

Details: Zelenskyy also mentioned the Iran-made drones that launch attacks on Ukraine.

"For some reason Iran claims that they (drones – ed.) are not being used here. But people see them in the sky. We shoot them down. And yet we are being told that allegedly they are not being used. Well, we will find a way to make them disappear for real", – the President promised.

Background: Earlier Nataliia Humeniuk, the head of the United Coordinative Press-Centre of the Defence Forces of the South of Ukraine, reported about over 400 km2 liberated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson Region since 1 October.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that since 1 October Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated 29 settlements in Kherson Oblast.
