Attack on Zaporizhzhia: Russians launch 9 missiles, 6 people saved from under debris

On the morning of 22 September, the Russian occupiers launched nine S-300 missiles on the city of Zaporizhzhia. Some damage has been reported, 6 people have been rescued from rubble, with rescue and clean-up operations ongoing on site.

Quote: "There were 9 attacks on Zaporizhzhia this morning. The city centre’s autumn park, beloved by generations of residents of Zaporizhzhia, was attacked. Furthermore, in the centre of the park, civilian facilities, a hotel and a restaurant [were attacked]. It was here where Russians launched two attacks using S-300 missiles. The facilities were considerably damaged. Sadly, a 65-year old man has died."
Details: Yulia Barysheva, the press officer of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, reports that at the moment the rubble is being cleared, and 6 people have been rescued from rubble. 27 more people have escaped the building on their own.
Russian missiles also hit a TV tower and an energy infrastructure facility. The resulting fire engulfed the area of 300 square kilometres at the substation.
According to preliminary reports, 21 houses have been damaged.
