Russian forces are attempting to reinforce their first line of defence in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts in eastern Ukraine by deploying units from the 3rd Army Corps and the remaining military personnel from units that have withdrawn from Kharkiv Oblast.

Meanwhile, units of the Russian Armed Forces which are carrying out missions along the line of contact have started to experience problems due to lack of munitions for MLRS and artillery because of the Ukrainian Defence Forces disrupted the logistical support of the occupiers. Russian forces’ problems with the ground lines of communication have been caused by targeted actions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces have successfully repelled Russian attacks near Spirne, Soledar, Maiorsk, Zaitseve, Odradivka, Vesela Dolyna, Vodiane, and Novomykhailivka.

Over the course of 14 September, aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force carried out 12 airstrikes on areas where Russian military personnel and equipment were concentrated and struck six areas where Russian military personnel were concentrated, two platoon strong points and four anti-aircraft defence systems.

Meanwhile, Ukraine anti-aircraft defence units destroyed four Russian military aircraft (three Su-25 and a Su-24M) across different fronts.
