Russia deploys additional forces in Belarus – General Staff report

Russia is deploying additional troops and military equipment on the territory of Belarus.

Quote: "The information available indicates that the Russian Federation is deploying additional armed forces and air defence equipment on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, on the Volyn and Polissia fronts."
Details: On the Sivershchyna front, Russian forces shelled the areas in the vicinity of Hai and Hremiach (Chernihiv Oblast) and Nova Vyrka (Sumy Oblast) using artillery.
On the Kharkiv front, Russian forces shelled the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the contact zone using tubed and rocket artillery. Russian helicopters conducted airstrikes near Verkhnii Saltiv and Pryshyb.
On the Sloviansk front, Russian occupying forces used various types of artillery to fire on the areas in and around Velyka Komyshuvakha, Brazhkivka, Virnopillia, Sulyhivka, Karnaukhivka, Ridne, Dibrivne, Hrushuvakha, Bohorodychne, Nortsivka and Zalyman. The Russians have deployed electronic warfare systems in the area. Their attempt to conduct assault operations in the vicinity of Bohorodychne and Dolyna was unsuccessful.
On the Kramatorsk front, Russian forces used tank guns, as well as tubed and rocket artillery, to fire on the areas in and around Kramatorsk, Karpivka, Siversk, Verkhnokamianske, Pereizne, Hryhorivka, Donetske, Raihorodok, Zvanivka and Ivano-Darivka. Russian attack aircraft conducted an airstrike near Spirne. The Russians attempted to advance near Verkhnokamianske, but were unsuccessful and have retreated.
On the Bakhmut front, Russian forces fired on the areas in the vicinity of Bakhmut, Kostiantynivka, Soledar, Zaitseve, Yakovlivka, Shumy, Kodema, Bilohorivka, Ivanivka, Vesela Dolyna and Bakhmutske, and carried out airstrikes near Zaitseve and Bakhmut. Russian troops conducted assault operations on the following axes: Volodymyrivka – Yakovlivka, Pokrovske – Bakhmut, Vidrodzhennia – Vershyna, Novoluhanske – Zaitseve. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were able to maintain their positions and have forced the Russians to retreat. The Russians are continuing to advance on the Novoluhanske – Kodema, Travneve – Kodema and Semyhiria – Zaitseve axes, where fighting is currently underway.
On the Avdiivka front, Russian occupying forces fired on the areas in and around Avdiivka, Pavlivka, Pisky, Shevchenko, Netailove, Nevelske, Oleksandropil and Niu-York using tank guns, as well as tubed and rocket artillery. They carried out airstrikes in the vicinity of Mykilske, Kamianka, Avdiivka, Volodymyrivka and Marinka. The Russians made unsuccessful attempts to advance on the Novobakhmutivka – Krasnohorivka, Spartak – Avdiivka and Vesele – Pisky axes, but were forced to retreat on each of those.
On the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts, Russian forces shelled the areas in and around Poltavka, Stepove, Trudove, Novomykhailivka, Bilohiria, Novoandriivka, Novopil, Volodymyrivka, Novosilka, Mala Tokmachka, Vremivka, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Stepnohirsk, Temyrivka, and Charivne using tubed and rocket artillery. Their aircraft carried out airstrikes near Vesele, Novodanylivka, Mali Shcherbaky and Novosilka.
On the Pivdennyi Buh front, Russian occupying forces used tank guns as well as all types of artillery at their disposal to attack the units leading the Ukrainian defence as well as those in the rear positions in an attempt to maintain their current positions. Russian aircraft conducted airstrikes near Andriivka, Bilohirka and Velyke Artakove. Meanwhile, the Russians also used UAVs to conduct extensive air reconnaissance in the area.
