Russian forces shelled a Rosiia co-operative farm in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, injuring two civilians and killing around 1,000 cattle.

Quote: "At 01:51 on 31 August 2022, the Ruscists used artillery to shell a co-operative dairy farm coincidentally named Rosiia [Rosiia, or Росія, is the Ukrainian word for Russia - ed.] just outside the village of Velyka Bilozerka ([the Russians attacked the farm] from the steppe, [from] the area in the vicinity of the solid household waste landfill).

According to the local residents, the farm was hit 10–12 times; 11 of its buildings were destroyed (three remained intact), as well as a milking hall and a feed shed.

There were over 2,000 cattle at the farm, approximately half of which were killed during the shelling (the exact numbers have yet to be confirmed)."

Details: Starukh added that two of the farm workers, a man and a woman, sustained injuries. The man, who was injured by shards of broken glass and other objects, was taken to hospital in an ambulance. His condition has been reported as fair.

The woman received a concussion and the ambulance provided her with assistance.
