Ukrainian pilots shot down invader’s Ka-52 Alligator and drones

On Sunday, Ukrainian airmen destroyed a Ka-52 helicopter and seven drones of the Russian invaders.

Quote: "On 21 August, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed seven operational-tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, two Kalibr cruise missiles and a Ka-52 Alligator helicopter of the Russian invaders."

Details: Ukrainian bombers and assault aircraft carried out about ten airstrikes on armoured vehicles, platoon and company strongholds, positions of multiple launch rocket systems, anti-aircraft missile systems, occupier manpower and logistics. 

Background: 

• On 21 August, at about 3:00, the anti-aircraft missile unit of the Operational Command Pivden (South) destroyed two Kalibr cruise missiles over the sea.
• On 21 August, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine brought down three drones which the Russians used to spy over Kherson Oblast.
