Russian forces shell Kharkiv bus stop, one person died

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, has said that Russian forces have shelled the Saltivskyi neighbourhood in the city of Kharkiv.

Quote from Syniehubov: "Remain in shelters as much as possible!

According to preliminary information from the Oblast centre for emergency medical assistance, two people have been injured in the shelling."

Quote from Terekhov: "It has become the Russian aggressors’ modus operandi to shell public bus stops. At 07:10 a person waiting for a bus was injured. An ambulance took him to hospital.

Overall, the Saltivskyi neighbourhood has been struck several times. Another person was injured in the courtyard of a multi-storey [apartment] building, and cars were damaged there too."

Updated: Syniehubov clarified that men – 30 and 72 years old – were wounded due to the shelling. The latter died in the hospital.

One of the shells landed in the yard of an apartment building near a public transport stop. Cars were damaged.

Background: On the night of 31 July, Russian forces shelled the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, injuring two women.
