Russian forces fire on Sumy Oblast using mortars and Grad MLRS, injuring a woman

On 26 July, Russian forces fired on three hromadas [amalgamated territorial communities] in Sumy Oblast, injuring a woman.

Details: Just after 17:30, Russian forces used mortars to fire 12 bombs on the Esman hromada.

At 18:00, the Russians started shelling the Krasnopillia hromada, firing 17 bombs using mortars and 12 rockets using a Grad multiple rocket launcher.

In addition, one of the villages in the Seredyna-Buda hromada was hit by a mortar bomb on the afternoon of 26 July.

It was struck with another 14 bombs fired from mortars soon after 17:00.

As a result of this attack, windows in residential houses shattered, and several fences, a power line and a transformer were damaged. The premises of a recreation centre were also damaged.

A 65-year-old woman, a guard at the recreation centre, was injured.
